Sloth Doctor Games at Drop In and Play – One Last Chance to Play the Original Heldritch Rush

We’re excited to share that Sloth Doctor Games will be at January’s Drop In and Play event, and this one is extra special for us – and for fans of Heldritch Rush.

This will be the final opportunity to play the very first demo of Heldritch Rush.

We’ve already begun a full rebuild of the game, taking everything we’ve learned so far and pushing it further. Before we close the door on the original demo for good, we’re running one last playtesting session to gather valuable feedback from players. What did you love? What do you want to see carried forward? What should the new version do bigger, better, and bolder?

If you’ve played Heldritch Rush before and enjoyed it, this is your chance to help shape its future.

What’s Next for Heldritch Rush?

The new version will still feature:

• Our isometric rail-shooter gameplay

• Our fearless action hero, Teddy

But everything is being rebuilt to be cleaner, tougher, and more bad-ass. This final demo is an important bridge between where the game started and where it’s going next.

About the Event

Drop In and Play returns this January as a free, drop-in gaming showcase celebrating local developers and brand-new games. You’ll be able to try upcoming titles across phone, desktop, console, and VR, meet the people making them, and learn more about what goes into game development.
